Park View Academy of Sport Student Annabelle Thomas Signs For Sunderland A.F.C. Women

Park View Academy of Sport is proud to announce that Annabelle Thomas has signed for the Sunderland AFC Women’s Professional Game Academy (PGA) – a fantastic achievement and a deserved next step for one of the most dedicated and consistent performers in the programme.

Annabelle has impressed across the season in a series of elite-level showcase fixtures, regularly standing out with her technical quality, tactical awareness, and physical resilience. Her performances culminated in a Player of the Match display in the ECFA Women’s National Final, helping Park View secure the national title in May 2025.

Beyond her performances on the pitch, Annabelle has shown exceptional professionalism off it. With 100% attendance in training and strength and conditioning, she maximised every opportunity to improve. Her Catapult GPS data was consistently among the best in the squad, highlighting her high sprint outputs and match-day intensity.


Annabelle will continue her academic studies at Park View while training full time with Sunderland AFC Women’s PGA, benefitting from an elite coaching environment alongside her ongoing education.
