In the Athletics academy, students will have the opportunity to train like an elite athlete alongside their studies. The aim of the academy is to help students to transition from junior athletes into senior athletes.
Students will receive personalised training and competition plans based on their preferred events and aim for each season. These training plans include physical prep sessions, strength and conditioning sessions and track and field sessions all tailored to the individual's needs and delivered by international standard coaches. Athletes will be tested regularly using high-level technology to monitor performance and recovery levels. Alongside these sessions, students will have a chance to learn what it takes to be an elite athlete away from the track with workshops on nutrition, competition mentality and recovery etc.
Park View Athletics Academy will work with students’ individual coaches at their respective clubs to help athletes reach their full potential. Cooperation with club coaches will ensure that athletes are not overworked and can use the academy’s programme to enhance their club training.
The athletics academy is a perfect opportunity for athletes to come and train at a high level with other like-minded athletes. It is a chance to find training partners to help you get through the tough sessions and to find competition that is going to help you push yourself to the next level in your athletics journey.
