PROFESSIONAL CRICKET
At Park View Cricket Academy, our mission is to provide a clear, structured, and fully supported pathway into the professional game. Through a unique partnership with Durham Cricket, students are immersed in a performance-driven environment that replicates the demands of elite-level cricket while balancing academic achievement.

Our programme offers full-time training, incorporating technical coaching, tactical analysis, strength and conditioning, and sports science. Players compete in a demanding fixture schedule that includes regular matches against county academies and high-performance colleges, ensuring they are constantly tested and visible to professional selectors.

This proven model has already produced multiple success stories:

Ben McKinney, a standout left-handed batter and leader, captained both Durham and England U19s. After excelling in our full-time programme, he signed a professional contract with Durham CCC and has since gone on to represent the England Lions.

Mitchell Killeen, a skilful seam bowler with excellent discipline and control, earned a professional deal at Durham CCC and has also featured for the England Lions after progressing through Park View's cricket structure.

COACHING
At Park View Cricket Academy, students benefit from elite-level coaching delivered in partnership with Durham Cricket, one of the leading county setups in the country.
As part of this unique collaboration, our players train regularly at the Seat Unique Riverside, the iconic home of Durham CCC.

Coaching sessions are led by ECB-qualified staff and structured to replicate the intensity and demands of the professional game. Players receive dedicated batting, bowling, and fielding instruction, as well as access to specialist coaching across all formats.

At Park View Academy of Sport, our players benefit from a Premier League academy-standard performance gym — equipped by Perform Better, the official supplier to the England National Team. Our state-of-the-art facilities provide everything needed to help athletes progress physically and reach their full potential.

Our dedicated team of UKSCA accredited, Master's degree, and PhD-qualified Strength and Conditioning coaches tailor individual programmes to meet each player's specific needs. We focus on developing strength, power, speed, and endurance — the key physical attributes needed to excel at the highest levels of football.
​
The performance gym is fully fitted with cutting-edge technology, including VALD testing systems, Witty Timing Gates, and PASCO force plates, allowing us to monitor workloads, track performance data, and create evidence-based training programmes. Players also benefit from access to full and half racks, and specialist equipment like the Eccentrix K-Box, designed to elevate strength training.

Every student-athlete follows a structured, position-specific training programme, designed to maximise their athletic development. Park View Academy of Sport prioritises the holistic development of its players through the strategic implementation of advanced technologies and dedicated support systems.
Performance analysis is enhanced through the use of FrogBox camera systems, providing automated recording, live streaming, and integrated match scoring for cricket fixtures. This enables a detailed review of individual and team performances, allowing players and coaches to analyse batting technique, bowling execution, and tactical decisions. The footage supports personalised feedback and remote sharing, making it an invaluable tool for continuous learning and player development.

In the event of injury, players benefit from comprehensive rehabilitation programmes delivered by expert sports therapists and physiotherapists. These programmes are tailored to individual needs, employing modern facilities and a phased return-to-play approach, alongside education on injury prevention strategies.
