From U17 to Professional - Ryan Wombwell

Ryan came to us as an U17 who was part of a very strong group. Many of the coaches admitted at the time Ryan ability-wise was not at the top of the group, but one thing that stood out was his fantastic attitude and work ethic to succeed. Through his dedication and excellent performances throughout the season, this allowed him to gain trials at Carlisle United and Sunderland. Ultimately leading to a professional 2-year contract.

For us as an academy showed that dedication and hard work are just as an important factor as ability.
